Family time in port angelos

This was one of the first family trips in a while. It’s weird as you grow up and you find yourself living a part from your family and with long gaps before seeing one another again. I don’t prefer it but I guess we have to go where life/community/work takes us. I look back on these photos still with such fondness. This was probably the best time that we’ve had as a family as we’ve all gotten older and just lived life separate from one another. More family trips to come for sure.

I only took 35mm film photos on this trip on my main film camera - Canon Eos 3. I’m continuously amazed at the quality of images from this camera and the colors it outputs - almost no matter what film you put in.

I am thoroughly enjoying how easy this camera is to use and that it’s pretty much a great in between - film and digital. Has a lot of digital-features and customizations as well as manual and automatic use. Highly recommend for anyone also in the market for a “safe” film camera. I know sounds dumb but you never know when your really old film camera is just gonna give out on you and then takes about a fraction of the cost to fix.

If you haven’t taken the jump to try out film, it really is so much fun. Even though after my first roll came out blank pretty much wanted to sell everything I had lol. But we made it people. I love film and I hope one day I could make a fraction of what I spend on it haha.
