Studio shoot with M+C

These are some of my favorite sessions. Two people in love, willing to be in front of camera unfiltered.

There’s a feeling I get as a photographer when I partake in these moments that I get to experience with people. I’m not them, but I feel as though I have a shared moment in these photoshoots where because I’m so intent to capture what they’re feeling, I feel it too.

I know I’m impacted by my own work, not because it’s the best thing out there but because it’s part of all these resourced moments of love and joy that I can say I’ve experienced as well.

On the technical side… well - it was the first time that I preferred the digital photos over the film photos. I’ve learned so much over the years with doing both but still so much to grow in. I chose to only use available studio light and natural lighting and was very happy with results. I honestly try not to use extra light sources until I absolutely have to.

If you’re a potential client, I hope you feel inspired to be less filtered next time you’re in front of a camera, and if you’re the one behind a camera - I hope you continue to share your life with the world - in however small or big ways.
